I travel in my job and need a GPS to help me get around. In my humlbe opinion, the Garmin 260W is a great bargain for the money. The screen is large enough to see and the turn-by-turn directions are easy to follow. Turning on specifc streets as directed (instead of a generic “turn right” or “turn left”) and being able to see where the next turn really helps also.
Main complaint: occasionally, there has been a wrong direction given, but these have been few and far between.
Still, a great bargain. If you are looking for a low-cost, high-quality GPS, the Garmin 260W is the one!
Highly recommended for getting around either in the city or the highway.

I have had my garmin nuvi 260w for about a month now and have used it several times (including a trip to Canada where I was totally unfamiliar with the area). This particular garmin was recommended to me by a friend who has one and loves it. I found that my garmin is very easy to use. I love the touch screen. I have had navigation systems that came built into my cars and the garmin is MUCH easier to use than the previous built in ones that I have used. Because of the ease of the touch screen, I am able to put in the information much quicker than with other nav systems I have used that were not touch screen. The wider screen is also helpful and makes viewing the screen quicker so that you only have to take your eyes off the road for a second to view where you are and where you need to go.
I highly recommend this product.
